FAQ's

At what age should my child be assessed?

Assessment is proven to be most effective from the age of 8, when a child has had time to develop educationally and a clearer pattern of strength and weakness has been observed from parents, teachers and often, the child themself.

What happens if a dyslexia diagnosis isn't reached?

If after assessment your child is not given a diagnosis of dyslexia all is not lost. Assessment is a valuable tool to guide me as to how best your child can be supported with areas of literacy/cognition that are be causing barriers to successful learning.  There are many ways to support your child to improve in areas that they find a challenge.
